Coordinative Control of Complex Networks

Abstract

This presentation offers a brief overview of the recent progress in coordinative control of

multiagent systems, with some discussions on related topics such as flocking modeling,

dynamics, strategies, and algorithms. Background and motivation will be introduced;

main ideas and key techniques will be discussed. As a specific example for illustration,

the so-called small-world networking structure is introduced to a flock of agents, so as to facilitate their internal

communications thereby achieving effective global control over the flock. To that end,

a couple of successful simulation examples will be demonstrated.

演讲者简介

陈关荣教授于1981年秋在国内获中山大学计算数学硕士学位，1987年春获美国Texas A&M 大学应用数学博士学位，之后在Rice 和Houston大学任教。2000年起接受香港城市大学邀请任讲座教授，创立了《混沌与网络学术研究中心》并任主任。陈关荣教授毕业后一直在工程学院工作，从事非线性科学研究，于1996 年被选为IEEE Fellow，自1993年起为IEEE电路与系统和自动控制会刊的编委、常务主编，及国际分岔与混沌等多个国际杂志的编辑或编委。目前发表国际杂志论文400多篇、会议论文250多篇、出版专著和高等教材16部。陈关荣教授是同济大学的荣誉顾问教授、以及国内十多所大学的荣誉客座教授，并多次应邀到过30多个国家讲学。
