摘要：This presentation introduces the design and development of hand gesture recognition systems for robot control. Topics include an overview of hand gesture recognition technologies, key concepts and the training and testing processes with deep learning neural networks, neural network modeling with Tensorflow and Keras, a gesture recognition system with input from Leap Motion Controllers, a gesture recognition system with input from web cams, and demo of experiments. Control targets of the designed systems are robots and drones.

王加存，博士，美国新泽西蒙莫斯大学计算机科学与软件工程系终身教授, 研究生项目主任。出版专著和参考书各一部，教材两部，发表论文90余篇。国际智能控制与系统学报副主编,国际离散事件系统与控制学报副主编，曾任 IEEE 系统, 人与控制学报副主编，IEEE 新泽西海岸分部学生工作委员会主席，IEEE系统, 人与控制学会组织与计划委员会秘书，蒙莫斯大学教授会理事，蒙莫斯大学计算机系主任。担任过多个国际学术会议的大会主席和程序委员会主席。
