摘要：在这次短课中, 我将首先介绍等参理论的发展历史, 包括等参超曲面的几何以及分类问题. 然后介绍等参理论在几个重要几何问题中的应用, 例如: 极小等参超曲面的第一特征值, 等参超曲面及焦流形上特征函数的构造, 以及陈省身猜想相关的问题等。

报告名称：Isoparametric Foliation and Related Problems

摘要：In this talk, we will give a brief introduction of isoparametric foliation in real space forms. Then we survey our results on the geometry of isoparametric foliation, including affirmative answer to the Yau conjecture on the first eigenvalue in the isoparametric case, negative answer to Yau's 76th problem，Besse's problem on generalizations of Einstein conditions, and Normal scalar curvature inequalities on focal submanifolds.
