On December 26, the 2021 SAS University Data Analysis Competition ended successfully. The "Minions Code Team", which was consisted of Wang Ping, Chen Yinhan and Li Jinxuan of Tongji University, won the championship through its outstanding performance. The team of "sas With Hair Falling" won the fourth place, the team of "Chuanze" won the eighth place, four teams entered the top 20, and one team entered the top 30. In addition, Professor Qian Zhijian and Associate Professor Yang Xiaohan of our university won the "Best Organization Award". Professor Qian Zhijian was awarded the "Special Contribution Award" by the organizing committee of this competition because of his effort in helping his team, which has excellent performance and stable performance in many competitions.

This year, in the new normal environment of epidemic prevention and control, the competition completed the whole process from registration to final award in online form. Nearly 700 teams from 105 colleges and universities across the country participated in the competition. Peking University, Zhejiang University, Southeast University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and other colleges and universities all sent strong teams to participate. Under the guidance of teachers Qian Zhijian, Jiang Fengying, Li Lina, Wang Yongzhi, and Yang Xiaohan, our team has stood out from many competitors and achieved good results with a solid professional foundation and strong teamwork ability.

SAS China University Data Analysis Contest, founded in 2013, is a non-profit public benefit competition launched by SAS China specifically for the data analysis related majors of Chinese universities. It aims to promote the development of China's data science field, improve students' application level of SAS software, and promote Chinese universities' international integration in the data field.
